Sometimes teacher, always learner. Obstetrician because there’s no better way to spend the day. Wish list includes education, wellbeing, sanity, support.
The thousands of lobbyists representing fossil fuels, gambling and pharmaceutical companies are effectively an anonymous voice to parliament!
@damongameau brilliantly articulates the absurdity and deceitfulness of the no campaign.
Puts things in perspective.

Today, famed writer Thomas Keneally penned a bush rap to urge his demographic of old folk “that we must not go saying no”. It moved me. I hope he does not mind that I, fully conceding I’ve no skills in this area, attempt to cast his words wider. #yes23
The VOICE is an advisory body to advise on behalf of the most disadvantaged section of society. In Jack Thompson's words, "A NO VOTE (winning) would mean that ill-will, prejudice and sheer bastardy had won." No decent person would vote NO? #VoiceToParliament#VoteYesAustralia

@g13nl0 Why wouldn’t you ask that Glen? People in charge of making these prejudiced choices should be called out on it, and everyone else at the conference should be made aware that this happened. Micro aggressions accumulate and cause trauma. Call it!
Thanks to @ranzcog for inviting me to talk on trans health at their annual conference. We need to do this more often. The more we talk about it the better the healthcare will be!
Absolutely incredible talk from Dr Yves Rees - Women’s health is not just for women - 60% of trans people avoid healthcare due to concerns of judgment and 21% have experienced discrimination - we need to do better #ranzcog22
