Our @BBCRadio4 show "Hopping" is now available on @BBCSounds. Set in the 1930's in a Kentish hop field, it features a fantastic cast & is written by me and @LucyTrodd https://t.co/XA4QAqhejS
A true renaissance man.
I remember when people were dragging him- an actor- for using the word dramaturgically on here lol. Everybody's cultured until someone whose actually well read comes along.
There is a certain type of person who lacks the curiosity to embrace new experiences, but can't stand the idea that this makes them ignorant or uncultured, and thus attempts to frame curiosity itself as pretentious and insincere

One thing I learned from watching Hayao Miyazaki films is that it’s okay to tell variations of the same story over and over again. That sometimes you will need to tell the same story in different ways (often at different points in your life) until you can finally be free of it.
Yeah so you know how I kinda lived the dream this year?
Thought I might do it again !
Thrilled to be back with Nick and the gang @bigfinish , we've got an absolute corker for you, coming soon!
Me and @LucyTrodd have a BBC Radio 4 sitcom pilot! October 14th, 2:15pm. 'Hopping' is a not entirely historically accurate comedy set in a 1930’s Kentish hop field. Featuring a fantastic cast and all told through a folky, humorous lens.
