At this point I’d respect republicans more if they said:

“Yeah this is an Unconstitutional/illegal war, but I don’t really care because I hate Iran and love war more than I care about the Constitution/Founding Fathers.”

But the idiotic remarks about the War Powers Resolution, “Obama/Clinton did it”, Article II powers, etc. just show me they haven’t really changed. This is the same regime change/blood thirsty political party that they were in the 00’s.

Now American troops are dead. We’ll see plenty of annoying virtue signaling posts about these “brave heroes.”

It disgusts me.

What did they die for? Can you really say Americans in Tennessee or Texas or Wisconsin are safer today?

Trump killed those troops. Republican war-mongers and MAGA sycophants killed those troops.

I voted for America First. Not to continue down the path of using our military to support the foreign policy goals of foreign nations- and that’s all this is/was.

This is a WAR of choice. We were not under attack. I don’t give a shit about what happened in 1979- and neither did you until it became part of today’s war propaganda. They weren’t close to a nuke and no one actually thought they were about to threaten us with ICBM’s.

Republicans: just be honest. We can all see through the BS war-propaganda. It’s old. It hasn’t changed. You aren’t outsmarting us. We’re just making fun of your ridiculous rationalizations.

The topic of immigration enforcement is like the right’s version of Covid hysteria.

“What, do you want millions of Americans to die from illegal immigrants?”

“Just obey orders and you’ll be fine. Do your part.”

“Your rights aren’t absolute. Government officials are acting lawfully, and you don’t have the right to undermine their efforts.”

“Stay home when DHS is in your area if you don’t want to be stopped and questioned.”

“You need to carry and show your papers when you go out. It’s for everyone’s safety.”

It’s mind boggling to see people who I agree with probably 90% of stuff on coming at my because I don’t believe an ICE agent should be shooting a disarmed man who was not a threat to any of them.

You guys are an echo chamber as bad as the left. It’s truly no different. It’s simply just “ICE agents are always right, the guy deserved it, don’t mess with Feds” there’s ZERO room in any of your brains for an actual conversation.

There’s plenty of middle ground that can be discussed here. It was a horrible miscommunication, the gun discharged accidentally(which seems to be a theory) ICE agents need better training. ICE agents need body cams like cops wear to avoid this situation from happening again. Maybe 7 agents don’t need be to attacking one man. Maybe Kristi Noem is incompetent and literally lying to all of us on camera like we’re too stupid to see what actually happened. There needs to be better deescalation. Or even the fact that accidents happen and you can selfishly pray it doesn’t happen again because it’s a fucking TERRIBLE look for the Trump admin and republicans.

But no, there’s nothing. You cheer on a dead man because he wasn’t on your side. You’re no better than the people who cheered on Charlie’s death
