@ComradesRace Despite some challenges with the verification of the active members, the @ComradesRace team have managed to sort all my friends (shoutout specially to Jared!) and they were able to register! Amazing work guys!
In Japan, when a treasured bowl breaks, we don't throw it away.
We don't glue it back and hide the cracks either.
We repair it with gold.
It's called kintsugi. The broken lines are filled with lacquer
dusted in real gold, so every crack becomes a shining river
across the surface.
The bowl is not "as good as new."
It is better than new.
This has been practiced for over 400 years,
and the idea underneath it is quietly radical:
the damage is part of the object's history,
and history should be honored, not hidden.
A kintsugi bowl that survived a break is often
more valuable than one that never broke at all.
Now read that sentence again,
but this time, about a person.
Every scar you carry is proof that you survived something.
Japan just happens to be the country
that wrote this truth in gold,
on its dinnerware,
four centuries before therapy was invented.
What would you repair, if you could repair it with gold?
From a dream to a life-saving reality! As we celebrate UGX 5.62 billion raised, we now embrace the UGX 10 billion target for 2027 to complete and equip the Nsambya Cancer Treatment Centre. @NsambyaHospital

What a great man!
What a King!
What a legend!
A passionate ambassador for tourism.
As a nation, we have not only lost the world’s youngest reigning monarch, but also a great leader, cultural custodian and champion of Uganda’s tourism and conservation.
May King Oyo’s remarkable legacy live on🕊️
We are grateful for the many warm messages of support. The selection of the next Secretary-General is still under way and far from decided. For more information on the selection process, visit: https://t.co/N5hiPHcWeq

AMERICA WINNING NO LONGER MEANS AMERICANS WINNING, PART II: I went to update this chart after the Q2 GDP revisions, which feature the NIPA Corporate Profits data and... yikes! The horizontal dotted lines are where the red and blue lines were in the previous update.
For years, I've been warning anyone smart enough to listen and profit from raging bull markets in stocks, gold, and Bitcoin that the blue line will eventually fall off the bottom of the page and propel the red line to new heights. The data is increasingly supporting my robustly researched view that AI will accelerate the U.S.'s steady descent into feudalism and the historic consolidation of wealth and power that entails.
Reminder: The Privileged Few have already purchased controlling stakes in the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court, rendering our votes largely symbolic. People far smarter than me, like @HoweGeneration, @RayDalio, and Dr. @Peter_Turchin, agree that We the People will not be able to "vote" our way out of this mess. The only alternative for We the People to fight back against the rapidly growing tyranny of The Privileged Few is via Paradigm E.
A refresher on our Paradigm A-E framework:
Paradigm A: Fiscal dominance perpetuates Treasury bond market disequilibrium.
Paradigm B: Cut the deficit.
Paradigm C: Run the economy hot.
Paradigm D: Default via debasement.
Paradigm E: MAJOR political realignment and total war.
Watch my latest @MacroVoices appearance if you want to learn why our data-driven, robustly researched Paradigm A-E macro risk management framework has been rapidly enriching @42Macro members for years. I'm genuinely humbled by the sheer number of our members who've communicated to me that they've made up for all their investment mistakes in the Dot-Com Bust and/or the GFC—and then some—because of the confidence that KISS and Dr. Mo provide them to participate in raging bull markets.
I am blessed by the opportunity to help so many families steer their newfound financial freedom all the way through their children's on-time and comfortable retirements.
Join us if this sounds like a good plan for you too: https://t.co/KTyzYkb9II.
We the People shall overcome. Have FAITH.

P.S. As an aside, this PhD-level dot connecting is what conservatives are missing regarding the DSA’s “surprising” growing popularity with many voters. FWIW, I do not support socialism. I support capitalism. A system whereby The Privileged Few pay top dollar to RIG election outcomes, legislation, and regulation on their behalf at the expense of We the People is NOT capitalism.
A tax code that increasingly and overwhelmingly favors capital income at the expense of labor income is NOT by accident. Federal regulations that crush labor unions, explicitly limit minimum wages, implicitly limit all W-2 income by not enforcing antitrust legislation, which allows our economy to be dominated by monopolies, duopolies, and monopsonies, and force workers into defined-contribution pensions are NOT by accident.
The Privileged Few have invested billions of dollars via campaign finance over several decades (e.g., Buckley v. Valeo (1976); Citizens United v. FEC (2010); McCutcheon v. FEC (2014)) to engineer these outcomes. And voilà—the chart below appears. WAKE UP!!!
Running is mostly about confidence and mindset.
And if you’ve already survived 5 talking stages this year, we’re pretty confident you can handle 10KM at the #2026MakMarathon.

Last week BTC had its largest weekly sigma move in the last decade while breaking above the 200 day moving average. On August 21st, the 200 day moving average slope turned positive for the first time in 279 days. Here are all the times in BTC history where the 200 day slope was negative for more than 100 days and the forward returns once it turned positive. In all cases, the low made during that decline window was never broken.
We are delighted to welcome @Tyrese to the Pearl of Africa for a journey into one of Uganda’s most celebrated treasures, coffee.
His visit will connect some of the places, people and experiences shaping Uganda’s coffee story, including Kampala, the Source of the Nile, coffee farms and the Africa Coffee Park.
