Sources: Denver’s passing game coordinator Davis Webb has reached agreement to become the Broncos’ offensive coordinator. Webb interviewed for three head coaching jobs during this hiring cycle, had other offensive coordinator opportunities, but opted to remain with the Broncos.
The best I watched this year, live or on stream, was Riley Howard of Wheaton. Absolute thumper.
Bonus points for having the most fullback looking headshot imaginable, and for being from a town called "Slaughter." Very fullback of him.

Earning win #1 with a strong statement!
The 18th-ranked Wheaton football team rolls past the Augustana Vikings in Rock Island to kick off the CCIW schedule in style! Tonight's scoreline marks Wheaton's highest point total in a conference opener since 2008 and its largest margin of victory in the CCIW opener since 2002.
The Thunder allowed only 72 total rushing yards, zero passing touchdowns, and pitched a three-quarter shutout in a smothering defensive performance on Saturday. Wheaton's offense put up 439 yards, and five different offensive players found the endzone tonight.
Rex Kroger (pictured here, #2) converted a 67-yard pick six to open the scoring and posted one tackle for loss. Luca Torti led the Thunder with ten total tackles and six solo stops, while Peter Johanik (#54) tallied five solo tackles and a game-high two tackles for loss.
Mark Forcucci was 12-15 this evening for 175 yards and one touchdown, while Seamus O'Connell was a perfect 5-5 with two touchdown passes. The special teams unit made a huge play in the second quarter when Zac Schloemer blocked a Vikings punt attempt and Ayden Doran returned the loose ball for a touchdown.
Next up for Wheaton is the team's home opener and Homecoming game next Saturday, as the Thunder host Carroll University in a 1 PM matchup at McCully Stadium.

My whole life is just mercy, grace and unmerited favor. I seriously don’t deserve any of this.
My career, my life, everything I do now is for one purpose… to glorify Jesus. That’s it. Anything other than that is just vain glory and is ultimately meaningless.
It’s funny, I was completely sold out for wrestling when I was young… now I’m sold out for Jesus in the exact same way. I didn’t care who knew, I was gonna tell everybody just how amazing pro wrestling was. I was completely unashamed.
I used to always ask God, why me? But the answer he’d always give me is because he knew that I would be bold and crazy enough to tell the entire world about him.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
#AGTG After a great camp and conversation with @CoachRigell I am blessed to have received my 5th offer from University of Northern Colorado @VistaPeakPrepF
Mount Union has been ranked in every single @d3football poll since they began in 2003.
Seven other teams have been ranked 200+ plus times, led by Mary Hardin-Baylor.
