Monetary policy should remain tight until the 11% additional inflation we've had since January 2020 above the 2% trendline is erased. There's no point in having an inflation target if you're not going to adhere to it. The Fed should not be cutting rates at all this year.

I recommend most leave $500 in their checking account at the end of each month to avoid running into a withdrawal that isn't covered. Keeps them covered and doesn't change anything in terms of future months.
