ICE pulled a gun on a NY teenager, beat him, and then realized they got the wrong guy. Like other cases targeting citizens, ICE dumped him in a random location far from his home, bloody and injured.
confused by this, i had it use /plan to make a plan to evaluate whats going on/why it can't do this simple thing. i had it implement the plan, and it replied to a prompt i had sent to it 3 prompts ago.
The biggest problem with @OpenAI's Codex 5.4 high is it seems like they've built engineered drift to get me to buy more credits... consistently, the model starts out very good - im sprinting through tasks and projects, but ater the longer i use it, the worse it gets.
Yes, im compacting context, yes im giving clear instructions. Example: It's been stuck for the last hour on putting a card container within a card container. It literally can't figure out how to make a card container be confined to a card container...
It’d be a really good way for them to get me to keep buying tokens.
I’m using codex-5.3-high, planning mode, skills, workflows and isolated passes on specific things with clear constraints.
I have a theory that Codex has built in engineered drift.
Some days it’ll one shot things in building, other days it won’t understand basic instructions and sometimes it’ll do things I specifically asked it not to do or do things that are completely unrelated.
Once in a while, it’s nice to pause and recognize the work behind the work.
So proud of my wife for this incredible honor — a reflection of years of purpose, courage, and impact. 😍
Watching the Bad Bunny Halftime show at @lumestudios_ with the squad from Cafe Colmado and a building full of Puertorriqueños was WILD energy!!
Felt like we were at the show!
No one talks about this, but the secret to creative excellence is having 8 projects with concurrent deadlines and overlapping meetings and being in a constant state of panic
🚨 HOLY SMOKES: ICE agents in Maine just photographed a civilian’s face and name and said they’re putting it in a database.
When the woman asked why, the agent’s response was basically: “Now you’re considered a domestic terrorist.”
This is intimidation. Not law enforcement.
Guys I finally updated to iOS Liquid Glass and it’s low key liquid ass.
This UI is surprisingly terrible/unsatisfying and ugly
The glass card containers within containers and floating overlayed elements look really bad !!
The roundness of certain containers is uncomfortable
The interesting thing about vibe coding is people have been manually vibe coding for a long time and it’s not really a thing.
The value isn’t derived from adding a profile picture component to a web app, it’s how many people are uploading a profile picture to your component.
✨ Tumblr, vibe coded in 1 min
