One of the best pieces of software I built this year and never published is my own media creation platform.

I basically just upload the raw videos and forget about it.

It does all of this for me:

- improves the color
- speeds up the video when needed
- transcribes everything in any language
- adds subtitles
- compresses the video
- removes bad words
- cuts the boring / bad parts
- creates clips automatically
- creates smart 9:16 versions following whoever is speaking, face movement, lips, etc
- scores every clip
- generates covers for each social
- writes the social text
- plans everything into the calendar
- schedules the posts
- recognizes people by voice, so I can filter content by person

I also added semantic search using embeddings, which is probably one of my favorite parts. I can literally search something like “that conversation where we talked about hiring hardcore people” and find the exact moment across thousands of videos.

Before, creating content meant needing a full media team around me, now I just need a really good filmmaker following me around, capturing what I’m already doing.

Personal software is the future my friends. We’re probably at 0.01% of all the software that will be created over the next few years.
