@BritMichael This sentiment is similar to a thought in my graduate book. The author talks about Google and how the creators wanted something that would be smarter than human brains. But why??? I don’t think I want anything that’s not “alive” to be smarter than me. Maybe that’s just me lol

@Ms_AbigailRouse I thought about this too. One of my last sub jobs was an 8th grade English class. For an assessment, they had to write their answers down on a piece of paper with a pencil. I had one student ask if he could type it first because his paper and pencil didn’t give him the 1/2

A big conversation my friends and I have had recently is about microwaves. One friend recently built a house and opted to not have a microwave. It’s a technology that has helped us with convenience for sure, but breaks down some nutrients in food as well #NOT #ed109

But, I also resonate with being familiar with technology and not being scared to use it, however I am not obsessed with it. I have no desire to know the latest technology devices or own them. I’m still a person who prefers reading off paper and not off a screen #ed109
