@backlake894 @amquilli Because of the Union Act of 1801, Ireland was not a a colony, but considered a part of the UK (the way Scotland or Wales are now) So the government allowed 2 million of it's citizens to starve to death a few hundred miles from Buckingham Palace. There's a word for that.
