@BYUSportsNation Comes back to what it always has been SEC holds the reins on College Football and they are driving the narrative that they want starting early this year in May. To answer the question I guess Tech but schedules outside of your conference are built years in advance.
@Firstand16_Pod It helps that they give 2 1/2 hours for the games.
ESPN is convinced that it only takes 2 hours they have the same problem with football they think that 3 1/2 hours is enough time it isn’t because of all the media timeouts.
@TotalBlueSports Unfortunately way more common for a Coordinator from a High Profile place to get a Head Coaching Job. If that is his goal. I don’t know if he had any head coach offers while at BYU or I think he would have left. So we will see. Thanks Jay.
@jakehatch@LOBig12 I would love for you to explore why BYU doesn’t trust the back up QB when it is clear that the Starter is injured. Feel free to use it as a podcast episode because it hurt us again on Saturday.
@CFBPlayoff there needs to be some punishment for Notre Dame. I suggest 2 year postseason ban. @espn@ACCFootball@Big12Conference@SEC@bigten By allowing this type of behavior you are enabling them. They don’t belong in the conversation when acting like this.
@BYUTracker Should have been ‘96 drop shadow would be fire back in The Metro plex and a BYU helmet is in the stadium already celebrating the ‘96 Cotton Bowl come on.
@jasonmcgowan@kalanifsitake Also another comment my wife cried just at the thought of Kalani being taken from us that is how much love she has for him and understands the importance of him to BYU football.
@jasonmcgowan@kalanifsitake Kalani is BYU football I have been a fan since I was a little kid. The love that he has shown for Cougar nation is unmatched you can tell he is in pain when we lose. I think he is the example that most of us need in our lives of love no matter what. We will mourn if he leaves.
I went back and looked at the last decade of where the lowest ranked P4/P5 1-loss team finished the regular season and here are the results:
2025: BYU (11 Projection)
2024: Indiana (8)
2023: Alabama (8)
2022: Ohio State (4)
2021: Notre Dame (5)
2020: NA (Covid)
2019: Baylor (7)
2018: Ohio State (6)
2017: Georgia (6)
2016: Washington (4)
AVERAGE ranking: 6
BYU is being absolutely robbed.
