This morning our Feeding and our Distribution of Emergency supply team members are getting ready to go out in to the hardest hit communities to provide supplies and meals to those impacted by Hurricane Ian.
It has been a long 36 hours for NC as we braced for #HurricaneIan. The #RedCross along with its partners, is working to identify areas that were impacted and those that will need assistance. If you are in immediate need of help, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
The rain is already falling as Ian approaches the coast. 🌀 NWS Raleigh says conditions will deteriorate through the morning & afternoon. Expect the heaviest rain and possible flash flooding during the afternoon and evening, and wind gusts around 50mph. 🌊 💨 ⛈️
