@PsychMrsg @AvantiWestCoast Unfortunately not. He’s heading back to Liverpool where he started 5 hours ago. Not safe for him getting a taxi to Glasgow from Preston on his own for this very reason. Will try again tomorrow. Never ever again will we use these trains. Glad your parents are ok.

@AvantiWestCoast The shutters are up there are no station staff there to help. The Avanti staff that were there earlier are gone.

@AvantiWestCoast Is there a rail replacement service yet from Preston to Glasgow? My son has been stuck at Preston for nearly 4 hours with no clear information. The information booth has shutters up. No food available. Appalling service.

@O2 already annoyed at being forced to move over from Virgin and lost the will going round in circles on @O2s awful phone line. Why am I paying more for 10gb data on one mobile than the lesser cost which has now been made unlimited data? Family with 5 phones all different now??
