The facility was out here representing at the @CaltechBBE retreat at Zachari Dunes with two posters (only one is pictured), which led to good conversations with colleagues about possibilities for future experiments. Looking forward to the next retreat.

Caltech & the facility was well-represented at @SoCalFlow this year, presenting on a Career Panel, and presenting a poster which won an Excellence in Cytometry award. It was a great conference and we look forward to attending again next year!
Our longtime director, Rochelle Diamond has retired from her role in the Flow Cytometry Facility. She will remain the Manager of the Rothenberg Lab, and will continue to advise as needed. Thank you for your years in service to us and the field of cytometry.

In a little bit of good news, last month I applied for a competitive scholarship to go to the 46th Annual Course in Cytometry and got it! I'm thankful for the opportunity to attend and looking forward to the course next month.

I originally planned to do a 4-day data course this week. Instead, I went to San Diego to learn more about spectral cytometry, the new @BDBiosciences S8 cell sorter, and do 2 experiments over the same 4 days. Def made the right choice changing plans ππ§Ώ
