You’re holding sUSDfr. Why doesn’t FRV lend out every dollar?

Because earning interest and having cash available for withdrawals are two different things.

When FRV funds a loan, USDC leaves idle reserves and becomes deployed principal. That loan can generate interest, but it cannot necessarily be converted back into cash immediately.

Idle USDC supports direct USDfr-to-USDC redemptions for eligible holders and settlements through the sUSDfr redemption queue.

That queue still requires a 21-day minimum hold, followed by first-in, first-out settlement within daily liquidity limits.

Even a performing loan book cannot guarantee immediate withdrawals.

Idle reserves serve a purpose: keeping part of the system liquid while the rest is deployed into credit.
