Chinese brand Nio has confirmed that it will launch in the UK next year. Its ET7 salon, EL7 SUV and ET5 saloon will only be available with Nio's subscription plan. The firm will also build a small number of battery swap stations around the country.

These are stats I like!

This is a year of running 2 EVs over 12,000 miles with roughly 90% of charging done at home overnight.

Most satisfying is the carbon impact of 78g/kWh of CO2.

The same 12,000 miles would have cost us roughly £2,800 at todays prices.

Today we stop heating our water with gas by installing timers on our immersion and using the Octopus Go off peak window to heat our water. Following in @sarah_go_green ‘s footsteps. Nest set to off!
