Did you know? As of 2024, 43% of U.S. adults are independent voters. In Idaho, independent voters are blocked from voting in our elections. Prop 1 is going to fix that by opening primaries and allowing independent voters to have a say. #YesOn1#OpenPrimaries
Prop 1 would let all Idaho voters participate in primaries, including independents.
Apparently, some politicians are afraid of a future where all voters can participate.

Spot on.
“There is no lack of efforts to confuse and distract, of course, from what the Open Primaries Initiative actually would do…It simply would bring more people into the process of selecting their leaders”

Out collecting signatures at the polls for the Open Primaries Initiative. Most people are eager to sign so all registered voters can vote in Idaho’s most important elections. @OpenPrimariesID@reclaimID#idpol
BREAKING: Former Governor Butch Otter and 115 other Republican community leaders endorse the Open Primaries Initiative, a ballot initiative that would end closed primaries and give all Idahoans—regardless of party affiliation—the right to participate in primary elections. #idpol
Why is the Boise School District Board so opposed to student representation? They should agree to a non-voting student member on the Board to replace Shiva. This exists on other Boards and would be a good long-term solution to give students representation

PSA: I just found out that taking a zinc supplement on an empty stomach and then drinking coffee is like throwing gas on a flame. Threw up within 15 minutes. ✅
Know about radon? The imperceptible gas from under your house is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. Our levels were >3x the EPA mitigation recommendation level. Our mitigation system is now online and we have a 95% reduction! Glad we’re safe now. Thx Idaho Radon!
“Reclaim…already won — it’s inconceivable the Legislature would have appropriated so much money without the pressure from an impending initiative vote. We all owe Reclaim Idaho a debt of gratitude.”

Anyone that’s paying attention knows that the reason for the special session and generational education investments proposal is because of Prop 1, the Quality Education Act from @ReclaimID. Us volunteers made this happen. #idpol
BIG NEWS: The falsehood that Prop 1 will raise everyone’s taxes has been exposed and debunked.
“Widely reported claims that an Idaho education funding initiative actually would raise taxes by $570 million appear to be unfounded”

@cottoncashcat@Walton_Emily Yeah that’s right. It was 6.4% for those earners, and the Quality Education Act would add another another 4.5%, only to the income above that level.
Just did the math, and our “cost per gallon equivalent” for our Nissan Leaf is $0.50 a gallon. Electric vehicles rule.
(Cost per mile is 2 cents. If I compare that to the 25 miles per gallon we got from our Subaru, that’s 50 cents.)
