Meet my son, who was the first kid to ever play Mario 64, Doom 64, Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64, Sonic Mania, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City, and now The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time—some of my all-time favorite games from childhood—on my favorite console, the Sega Dreamcast, for his first play-throughs… and his little sister plays with us as well.

Despite the fact that we actually do have a thriving homebrew scene of people playing and supporting us, I could not give less of a shit if anyone else plays them or appreciates the work… This is all the validation I need.

「有言実行」というには、
あまりにも時間が経ちすぎました。

毎日のように寄せられていた新作への声が、
２、３日に１通になり、１週に１通になり、ひと月に１通と徐々に減っていきました。
当時J2リーグのダービー企画「首都圏バトル」に参加するも、元気は何も宣伝するモノがありませんでした。

11年前の気持ちを察すると、ユーザーの期待の声を数字で示したかったのだと思います。
同時に、若いなとも思います。恥じ入る気持ちですが、ようやくお約束を果たすことができました。

元気の中の人はまち（久しぶりに書きました）は、本作においてエアロパーツメーカー、ホイールメーカー、アートファクトリー様との交渉を担当しました。

当てにしていたバスに乗り遅れ、１時間半かけて歩いて向かったり、雪の降る中、昭和トラスト様に向かい、帰りの第三京浜でスタックする車を横目に帰ったりと様々なことがありました。

アーリーアクセスに収録が間に合わなかったRouteKS様に顛末を説明に伺った際、近所にある、愛するクラブからドイツに渡った日本代表のお兄様が経営する、町野珈琲店でいただいたグアテマラが大変美味しゅうございました。

三月にしては暑かったENKEI様で、企画書を用いて一気に説明したあとにいただいた緑茶。
さすがはお茶どころ静岡、大変美味しゅうございました。
飲み干して目を見開いたところ「こだわっています」と自信たっぷりに教えていただきました。

そして「首都高バトルやってました」と、メーカーの方からお声をいただいたことも多くありました。
リザルトジャパンの吉岡様からは「憧れだった」と思いを告げられたのも忘れられない思い出です。

印象深いのは、C-WEST SPA様を訪問した際、
フロントバンパーを研磨している職人さんの横を通り、
轟音の中、企画書を用いて説明の機会をいただきました。

パッケージ版を作らない限り、モノに触れられないゲームメーカーの従業員としてメーカー各社様を訪問するたびに、実際の商品の迫力、存在感に圧倒されました。
50社近いメーカーを訪問し日本各地を回って、ものづくりの国だと改めて感じました。

至らないことも多く、大変ご迷惑をおかけしました。
この場を借りてお詫び申し上げます。誠に申し訳ございません。

2026年2月26日、いよいよ発売です。
