@realOldBilly @McKean_enjoyer @paraschopra How long? not long, because what you reap, is what you sow!

Sundays meal prep day!

Love the kitchen in the new house, makes cooking so much easier when you have decent setup!

I've just released 'Operations' for Laravel 🎉

A small and simple package for one-time deployment tasks, like backfills and seeders

Write your handle() method and run it during deployment. Completed operations are recorded and skipped on future runs:

@stevebauman Was thinking of building something similar.

So far I just built a MigrationCommand abstract to handle all our backfills and data migration, especially with the 10 min deployment windows on forge been burnt so all data & schema changes are decoupled.

Very cool 😎

@scottstts Both things are true, with this death comes both joy & sadness😢

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@sunglassesface Those retro X futurist style posters are next level!

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@calebporzio Love to see it!

I rebuilt our anonymous invite system over the past few days & even the frontier models kept screwing up the business rules, it’s quite complex!

Ended up building by hand & enjoyed the feeling of being able to hand craft something that it couldn’t handle.

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@aarondfrancis You planted a mind worm. 🐛 I don’t think I could go back now either!

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@IanLandsman @thorstenball Your desk needs a Studio Display & you can delete this docking hub.

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@wesbos Gotta get the walnut so you standout!

Then you need to accessorise with walltune: https://t.co/npAqyExRqz

@laravel & @joetannenbaum - any updates on wayfinder and the tagging of the dev-next branch?

We've been building off dev-next in the hope it will be released soon, fingers crossed 🤞

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@aarondfrancis A trendsetter Codex that’s trying to invent new compound words to be cool enough not to have its context window cleared.

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

🤯😱🤩

Big one today — Tailwind is joining Shopify 🛍️

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@LudovicGuenet Nice work mate, looks fresh!

I just moved into my new house over the last week. Looking forward to making my new study my own. Paint, accoustic slats for the walls, going to be great!

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@aarondfrancis You would have made a good PM 😅. No long running epics! All work should be quantifiable, especially for cross departmental work

Another good guideline: work less than 30 mins, don’t make a ticket, treat it is BAU unless you need audit-ability.

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@aarondfrancis @DanielleMorrill Go for @GitBookIO, drop notion if it’s just marketing. Version control & linear integration great, particularly as Linears’ docs feature is lacking…

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

After a couple of years of conversation history, the agent knows me well…

I think someone said - Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good

Need it on a post-it note.

[Aaron Francis @aarondfrancis]

Tell your agent: "mine all my conversations on disk and tell me how I work, what I'm good at, what I'm bad at, and how I can use AI better"

You might (not) like the results!

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

What would their 70’s hair band name be? 😅

[Sam Huckaby @samhuckaby]

@twigpress @aarondfrancis @dhh There’s still work to be done

(This is a cry for help)

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@MrPunyapal @github @pierceboggan This should be the main tweet! Costs Money which adds up & can be hard for young people who don’t understand the basics to know why they are being charged.

At least a warning when clicking fork that this incurs a cost without disabling.

[Cam Kemshal-Bell @camkbell]

@steveschoger Love the wood panelling, very tasteful!

I’ve just bought a new house & tempted to do the kitchen, but part of me is also realises I should probs build my forever home & this one can be a for now home.
