A fantastic last day at @Campion_School for summer school 2022! We completed our English and Maths before having an afternoon of fun with ice cream and outside games. See you in September Y7! #proudtobecampion

Y7 played foot rounders this afternoon, along with outside games like giant connect 4, giant jenga and giant dobble. We didn't get any pictures as we were having too much fun! I think everyone is going to sleep well tonight! 😴 #proudtobecampion

Part two of the carousel we had maths, where the pupils made towers to hold eggs and lemons, while simultaneously working out a maths problem. Luckily no eggs were broken on Miss Edward's classroom carpet! (2/3)

Our carousel this morning involved our Y7s making sensory bottles and positive rainbows at @Campion_School for our arts and crafts wellbeing activity... #orbeez #sensory #wellbeing

Drama with our fabulous Miss Cox was next for our new Y7s! We played wink murder, the emotion game and created tableaus. It was great to see everyone getting involved and working together.

A fantastic experience doing VR space exploration at @Campion_School summer school today! Thanks to @educationgroup the pupils learnt lots about our planets and space.

It was lovely to see so many of our new year 7s go home with more confidence at the end of the day.

Look out for more updates each day as the week continues!

Then, we made some crazy animals by drawing the head, body and legs separately (which is going to help us write some descriptions tomorrow) and finished off by working on our scrapbooks and getting rewards

A great first day at Campion Summer School 2022.

Today we started off with some literacy, numeracy and a tour of the school, before doing some team work 'egg protection' creations and dropping them off of the wall in the quad to see who's egg would survive!
