@melbriderx People have just moved the barriers out of the way to the bus station. Steady stream of people, including myself, walking up the dead escalators.
@MelbOnTransit Mon dieu! I don’t think they could they have butchered this anymore if they tried. Even with your explanation, it’s all over the place. Nothing is universal, it honestly can’t be that hard.
@Urban_Immerser@HawkerMatty1701@MelbOnTransit@metrotunnelvic Agree. You only have to look to Paris (RER E) and London (Elizabeth line) recently to see how valuable to off peak, reduced service can help iron out bugs and infrastructure issues once in passenger operations
@tevand95@undefinedhandle@MelbOnTransit It should be inspiring to what Melbourne could have! No need to bring politics in but once this new Melbourne tunnel opens, what’s next?………..
@MelbOnTransit I don’t mind this, any issues are found and not impacting the majority of people. They did it here in Paris for the RER E extension, it ran from 10-4pm each day (although it had a lot of issues once fully open) Elizabeth line in London ran a heavily reduced TT to start as well
@Philistine1235@essendonfc This is old Essendon mentality which is why we are in the situation we are in. Head in sand thinking. This isn’t a Scott issue, it’s 20+ years of egos and messiah complexes in the club.
@MelbOnTransit And there is still a mix of frequencies still, leading to poor connectivity. If you’re lazy enough to do bare min 20 min max waits, make them all 20 mins max. You are right, better late than never but crazy it cost billions for what was meant to be a network changing project.
