The final score was 22 - 21, not a win for us, but a WIN nonetheless. A huge pregame downpour and trailing score didn’t diminish our grit. The entire stadium waited in prayer and well wishes for emergency personnel to arrive. This is a WIN @VHS_BlueDevils @HenricoSchools!

#911Anniversary I remember being in front of a group of 1st graders and looking up at the horror unfolding on our t.v. To protect my students, I turned off that t.v. before they could realize what was happening. Those images and that day are forever with me.

Grateful to see "The Energy Bus" continue to be on the WSJ bestseller list. It was originally rejected by multiple publishers. After it was released, bookstores wouldn't carry it. It took a while but eventually it took off. I say that as a reminder. Don't give up on your dream.
