We're excited to share that our Young Planners Program has been featured in the @APA_CANorthern Chapter's newsletter. Thanks to Nio Howa, UC Berkeley student and Young Planners fellow for sharing their summer program experience! #sfyoungplanners https://t.co/z5gHi0UXQt

NEW: CA is expanding eligibility for the #COVID19 vaccine.
Beginning April 1, Californians 50+ will be able to sign up for an appointment.
Beginning April 15, eligibility will be expanded to everyone 16 and older.
The light at the end of the tunnel continues to get brighter.
For the 1-year anniversary of Shelter in Place, we're recognizing our Planning staff who supported in critical roles to make San Francisco safe. Thank you everyone who stepped up to become a Disaster Service Worker during this time. #EssentiallyYoursSF
So many hands built this victory, but I must single out the indefatigable, ingenious team at @fairfightaction, led by the powerhouse that is @gwlauren. From mobilizing voters to defending the franchise to moving the needle on what’s possible - this team is mighty! Thank you all.
Today and every day is ‘Thank an Essential Worker Day’ in our book. Let’s applaud all essential workers who are serving our communities throughout the #COVID19 pandemic. #EssentiallyYoursSF
Covid (@UCSF) Chronicles, Day 14
1/ Still stable @ucsfhospitals. No news = terrific news. Covid+ pts=15 (last 2 wks below). Nine in ICU (5 on ventilators), no change in past few days. Few new pts coming into ICU, but not many leaving. Several floor pts have been discharged
A sneak peek at the horrifying economic projections for SF:
Some 14K businesses, by law, should be totally or partially shut. They employ 170K people. They generate $3B per month. They pay their workers $900M per month.
Then things get bad.

@ohmconnect I absolutely love & recommend you guys, but I do think it's a bit tone deaf to host Ohmconnect hrs at night while we're all required to #ShelterInPlaceCA. I understand some ppl need the source of income, but perhaps have the events occur during the day/early evenings?
Covid (@UCSF) Chronicles, Day 6
1/ Still just 10 Covid pts @ucsfhospitals. SF cases up (131, vs 40 3/16) but may be >testing. Natl curves (fig):CA pretty flat c/w NY. Early acts by leaders & citizens? Or just luck? & Did we dodge bullet? Just too early 2 say, & too soon 2 relax
This has become the new normal in #SF - businesses boarded up along Divisadero & the Haight too. But this is only temporary, we will get through this. Amazed by the SF community for doing their part to flatten #COVID19; sooner or later we will be back supporting these businesses!
Here is the good news. It appears that the measures in SF (please appreciate that I would never shorten to “Frisco” even when running out of Twitter room) are working. I’m asked for a summary analysis in simple form which I will show.
Good job Bay Area. I know it’s hard. 7/
