the fact that handing over the password to the POTUS Instagram account is probably part of the “peaceful transition of power” in the US is very funny to me
saw a tiktok made by a literal child where he was like "people in gen z that say things like eepy kitten is just like millennials saying heckin doggo" and i'm gonna be sick
apparently a lot of cis women need to hear this but a world where our faces, bodies, hair, breasts, clothing and voice are constantly scrutinized as "not feminine enough" is infinitely more dangerous than a world where trans women might also be in the bathroom and need to pee
The debate in the comments here so perfectly captures American politics. Everyone’s so busy fighting over which 70-something topples over more that they aren’t wondering why our only candidates are 70-somethings
I cannot believe people are fr trying to argue that it doesn’t matter if Native Hawaiians are casted for Nani and Lilo as if their culture isn’t a CORNERSTONE of the movie

That being said, the statement this org put out is awful and they shouldn’t have put it out there.
Trans Resistance Network have released a statement on the mass shooting.

@AnaKasparian what’s funny to me is that people in these comments defaulted to assuming these terms are for the benefit of trans women, when in fact this is largely for trans MEN. Some trans men still have a uterus and could still get pregnant. They prefer not to be called women.
So I just read Call Me By Your Name and then immediately watched the movie. I genuinely do not understand why people liked the movie, ESPECIALLY if they read the book. There were SO MANY misses on characterization and plot development in the movie. Not a fan of either but jeez
