It's going to take a lot of money and volunteers to defeat the Pierce County Charter Amendment regarding making the sheriff an appointed position.

There is also an amendment to have a sheriff ombuds because to the radical left, there can never be enough control over the sheriff office.

Given @SenWarren’s prior celebration of the Supreme Court’s misguided decision compelling tariff refunds, one might have expected her to consider the obvious consequences.

Many companies — both foreign and domestic — would simply pocket those refunds, and Japanese companies are now claiming $3 billion worth of refunds from the @USTreasury.

Her latest theatrics ignore the facts. As the companies profiled here make clear, tariffs were not borne by American consumers in the way Senator Warren claimed.

Fortunately for the American people, Senator Warren’s shortsighted histrionics will never dictate Trump Administration policy.

Fair, reciprocal trade that puts America First will be restored, and President Trump’s tariff rates will return to where they belong.

Fifty-four years ago today, my Dad, a WWII Army Air Corps veteran, died of a heart attack at 49 years of age.

He left behind a 30 year old widow with four boys: 11, 7, 4, 2.

My Mom had to sell the small farm so she could pay the bills.

She married a local guy because that’s what you did back then.

He turned out not to be a very kind man. To say our lives were dysfunctional would be an under statement.

We grew up in a two bedroom double wide trailer working on my step dad’s parents’ farm. They were nice people.

I joined the Army after I graduated so I would not be stuck in Artemas, Pennsylvania for the rest of my life.

When I hear people tell me of my privilege, I just smile at them and remember where I came from.

Denver City Council blocked Denver International Airport from leasing space to Key Lime Air, because the airline worked with ICE.

There was just one problem…

It violates FAA rules.

So what did they do?

City attorney Miko Brown allegedly urged the airport to fabricate an investigation into the airline’s safety record to cover up for illegally discriminating against the airline for political reasons.

When word got out, Brown and Mayor Mike Johnston flat out denied it.

However CBS just obtained an internal airport memo appearing to reveal the entire thing was true.

City officials conspired to discriminate against a private company for political reasons then lied about it to cover it up‼️
