The animations are awesome. Idgaf what anyone says. They're blinded by nostalgia. Fortnite is finding ways to keep the game interesting and not repetitive. 10/10 best season in years

Excited to share something that I’ve been working on for the past year! The team knocked our overhaul of Fortnite’s locomotion animations out of the park and I couldn’t be more proud to have been the producer for it!

The game will never be able to advance or change while 90% of the player base are blinded by nostalgia. I personally think this season is the best one in so long. If the games bots can be programmed to adapt. All of you salty sardines can learn to adapt to change.

Let’s talk movement. TBH, it took us a few days to get used to it during our playtests too.

We want to introduce visual improvements & encourage more strategic decision-making in each moment. Here’s what changed:

-New animations!
-Run and sprint speed slightly slower (but stamina recovers quicker)
-Sideways + Backward movement faster
-Crouching is slower, but stealthier!

We’re listening to your feedback on this and definitely hear the concerns. In this early stage we’re hoping that you’ll consider this update & that it starts to feel natural over time. We’re still here with you and every day we strive to make things better. thanks for everything 😊
