Finished a project! Happy with how it turned out and ready for the next one! It's by far the most complicated model I've actually finished and the first thing I've animated in years. Love seeing things come together after looking like trash for weeks.

@HackDotSlash What kind of feedback are you looking for? If you're asking for public feedback and someone sees a bunch of dudes hyping you up and they have any genuine opinions they might opt out of sharing them to avoid going against the group and getting attacked for not being supportive.
@curtisjamesholt For a first printer you've got a ton of options, especially at that price point.
As other folks have mentioned, resin and FDM (filament) printers each have their pros and cons, though I think FDM is a better place to start and isn't nearly as messy.
The Prusa MK4 is my rec.
@orcaspeaks @DenverPolice@dobetterdnvr The person managing the DenverPD twitter account...? Their job is to post about stuff and provide info to the public... Information like how to acutally report criminal activity...
@MoiDawg Honestly, coop mode against bots is a ton of fun with friends. You can still work through the weapon unlocks, the pressure is low, and it can still present enough of a challenge to be fun.
@andrewpprice@brandon_manus I think the series is in a good place. There's a lot of other blender content out there that's maybe a little too condensed which might get people to the same end result in less time but doesn't really serve as an introduction to Blender on a more holistic level.
@DannyMacFinn@UBadler In this case I think he's talking about download servers. So they're not used during gameplay, just when someone wants to download the game and install it.
@DannyMacFinn The Polygon Academy series on youtube is a pretty solid primer. I've been hacky trim sheets for ages at work to quickly get things looking decent.
@HackDotSlash@LogicaISoIution This whole disaster feels like it's entirely fueled on panic decisions made by folks unqualified to manage a game at this scale.
@DannyMacFinn@HackDotSlash That's pretty solid. Blender is super hotkey focused so I use an addon that allows you to set up custom pie menus. The mouse buttons trigger different pie menu and then I can swipe to mode/tool I want and very quickly jump around. It's very gestural more fluid for me.
