@crazy_lekiwi@ricsalizzo And soccer is the most simplest games, along with tennis. Hence why they are so vastly played and watched. Union seems to hang its hat on the packing of scrums and lineouts which offer little appeal compared to the running game.
@CooperDavid6 The rules make no difference. They created a production line in talent which is why they don’t fall off aftet losing talent. Ivan offloads pieces at the right time to ensure the next elite talent comes through. Never pays overs for recruits. Effectively the reverse of W.Tigers.
@Zythrn@the_red_heifer It still has most of those teams. Souths, Easts, Norths, Wynnum, Redcliffe, Ipswich are all are well run organisations. Ideally the Qld Cup level becomes 70/30 full time professional with the current Jets overseeing a massive grassroots base.
@woodward_curtis Not that long ago we only had live games on Fox Sports. 3 on Saturday, 1 Sunday. Had to wait til 10pm for a Friday game on Fox because 9 wouldn’t put it on til 11.30pm in Victoria. $45 a month to watch 8 games live on Kayo is $12 a week. We wished we had that expense 15 yrs ago.
@Bludgeonox@zanofc If they are upgrading Suncorp a selection of safe standing bays would be a winner. Being jammed in the seats in a big crowd isn’t much fun. Standing is always more enjoyable.
@steedencentral So follow an organisation that has one large city that basically only follows one football code and ensure the media shit can any other football code that might offer competition. Sustain that for 30 years = AFL formula.
@LeagueScenePod Melbourne should never be taking home games outside of Victoria especially not to a small market like Hobart and play it on a cricket ground.
@YMakka9393@firstfusilier@MehreenFaruqi Yep he’s a man of retirement age, he simply just had to say thats not relevant to me so I have no interest in spending any time on it.
