@ernestdove I mean obviously tougher opponents this month, but they did go 4 over in May, the Phillies games this month will be huge and can they take 2 of 3 from the Braves at home next weekend? Should start getting some bats back soon too
@James_Schiano Sucks to say, but you just know Mets are gonna let him finally go and he'll end up in division and have a big year w/the bat like Dom Smith is now. Doesn't mean they shouldn't let him go though
@WexlerRules That contract is gonna be a big issue, even for Cohen when Bichette doesn't opt out. Don't even really know what they do when Lindor comes back. Guess you can move him or Baty to 2B and bench Semien, but does that even make any sense?
@WexlerRules Exactly, I mean Polanco I give a slight pass just because he really hasn't played much at all this season, but Bichette has been awful, decent defensively actually (at least by eye test, not sure what the metrics say), but his bat and still batting 2nd
@Timodc It's not so much they don't know about them as it is they don't believe them. How many times have we heard from the MAGA cultists about Biden's Administration sending the "alphabet agencies" to illegally investigate their orange savior?
@Rob_Z_31@WexlerRules When it comes to the modern day and ticket prices I think you really need to look at secondary market, more than what the team's are selling their tickets for (yes this obviously has no effect on other game costs), but most ticket sellers will take whatever they can get
@ernestdove If I remember correctly, h we struggled early last year too before he really hit his stride. Still probably one of the more promising SP prospects in the system
@Rob_Z_31@WexlerRules (2/2)
only ticket, and that allows you to go to every game for the month I believe. They also have a bunch of cheaper transportation options they've started, like shuttle busses from local malls and things like that. So not saying it's in anyway cheap, but they make an effort
@Rob_Z_31@WexlerRules I mean it's definitely not cheap for sure and what really sucks you see some other towns and it's extremely affordable. Have to say Mets have some good deals for those on a tighter budget, like $5 Tuesdays, I also know they have a deal you pay 1 price for a standing room (1/2)
@Rob_Z_31@WexlerRules Of course, I'm really just talking about ticket to get on the game, but yes everything else needs to be factored in too. Like I'm dropping $30 for parking and then for food and a soda (forget it if you want beer or any alcohol), it's like another $30-40/person
@WexlerRules Even when they were bad, winning around 20 games, Garden was sold out. It's always been a tough ticket, maybe they have affordable packages or what not, but a single game, forget about it. Even against a garbage team, secondary market get in is at least $100
@WexlerRules@Rob_Z_31 a Subway Series game (think you're only guaranteed one of thise 2, but I got both this year), and bunch of other marquee matchups, and my seats are okay, yeah 500s, but right behind the plate, cost me under $600
@WexlerRules@Rob_Z_31 I still say Mets games are relatively affordable and 2nd market for sure they are. Maybe not OD or Subway Series, but outside of that, most games are affordable. Even then though, I have a 20 game Sunday ticket deal, that comes with a ton of perks, extra free games, OD, (1/2)
