This oscillating water well in India is a recent and unusual hydrogeological phenomenon that occurred in the village of Virparda, located in the Morbi district of Gujarat.

The water inside an 18-foot-deep (around 5.5 meters) farm well began moving and oscillating continuously from side to side on its own, even overflowing at times since August 2, 2026.
