Yeah I don't like the idea either but thats becasue we grew up and still live in a world where the production of the indivudal matters and varies greatly. And so something like UBI just means free loaders free load while someone else works hard. Thats why it wouldnt work. But with AI, production is equalized and cost trends reverse. The AI does the thinking and the robots do the labor. Humans would have to do very little and therefore performance variance matters a lot less. One would hope that with all that, we could manage, or even have UHI.
