@ajayrotti@nsitharaman Think main highlight of the Bill is continuation of tax exemption to REIT / Invit investors where underlying SPV goes for transition to new tax regime. Without that amendment, SPVs had compulsion to remain under old regime solely to preserve tax-efficient dividend distributions
@shreyaworld100@shreyaworld100 hope your conversation would have been on tough questions since PVR isn't showing improvement despite those recent blockbuster movies like Dhurandhar etc. Either PVR's growth plans are not achieving desired targets or management seems to be missing something big!
@AdityaD_Shah Aditya bhai if you keep aside those IPO price metrics & stock price movement, do have a quick look at these interesting numbers👇of LIC's journey since listing till now.
Higher Embedded Value, Improved VNB Margin, Bigger Non PAR Book Available At Much Lower Valuation.
@AshishGupta325 Had this happened on expiry day, the market would have been staring at a full-blown disaster!
Since tomorrow is expiry, many will predict repetition of today's disaster at closing again tomorrow & may not wind up their position on expectation of big spike at closing

There seems to be goof up even on order execution by exchanges due to that goof up towards end.. my sell order for a stock got executed at highest rate of that stock today, which obviously happened during that spike- although the selling order rate punched by me was much lower 😂
Massive confusion in markets in last 30 minutes. Wild moves and wild close #cas#nifty#trading#markets#investing
Why did NIFTY suddenly jump ~200 points in the last minute?
From today:
Cash market for F&O stocks effectively moves into a Closing Auction Session (3:15–3:35 PM).
The closing price of F&O stocks is now determined by an auction, not by the last 30-minute VWAP as before.
The NIFTY closing value is calculated using these auction-determined closing prices of its constituent stocks.
If several heavyweight stocks (HDFC Bank, Reliance, ICICI Bank, Infosys, etc.) receive aggressive buy orders in the auction, the official NIFTY close can jump sharply, even if the index hardly moved during normal trading.
Why was the move around 200 points?
Today was:
✅ First day of the new system.
✅ Institutions and index funds participated in the auction.
✅ Large auction imbalances in heavyweight stocks translated into a large change in the official closing index.
Many traders were equally surprised today, with numerous discussions asking whether it was a glitch before realizing it was the new closing auction mechanism.

@richapintoi Frankly there's nothing major to celebrate here as our lake capacity remains same & hasn't increased for many years now. Its normal now to get 100% of lakes filled up by the end of very monsoon & then we stare at news of potential water cuts at end of summer, till rains dont come
@joybhattacharj Joy, just look at this👇clip for that arrogance & ignorance which he gave to #Pakistan politicians & journalists, when they came over to congratulate him on gold medal in 2024 Olympics. He was expecting a prize money in cash & so gave them cold treatment in front of those cameras
@rushikesh_agre_ Rushikesh u are doing great job on weather side despite from a legal background. My suggestion as your admirer to keep posts on such weather prediction to real time basis rather than remote prediction like this👇which may give a miscommunication or trolls in reply will get active
Lockdown was good opportunity to get remote work as alternate, with tax breaks to those doing it- would have allowed those in Tier 2 & 3 to work for Tier 1 employers.
Next, dignity to all kinds of Labour work like electrician, mechanic etc.
Else its just a rat race for desk jobs!
The real issue facing our nation is how to create jobs for our massive cohort of youth in this very uncertain global landscape.
Sadly, the IT industry, including Zoho, have not created many jobs in recent years. We have not laid off people but we are not creating new jobs either.
The money that would have gone to new employees is now going to AI and data center costs, the latter due to the steep rise in server and memory prices. We are trying to control those costs but a lot of that is out of our control.
While AI allows us to produce more software quicker, does the over-saturated global software market need a lot more software? Like any commodity industry, the focus shifts to quality, reliability, brand and so on and growth will be much slower.
Software customers (large and mid-sized enterprises) also have redireced their own IT spending towards AI. Even the AI companies which are growing very rapidly are borrowing and spending huge amounts of money in capex, and it is not clear they will achieve the massive profits they need to justify all the capex.
What other industry can pick up the slack? Extensive automation means that large scale manufacturing produces few jobs.
As an economic thinker, this is a good thing: ultimately all kinds of goods, including advanced tech products become very affordable because production becomes so cheap. The "only" question is how the economy is structured so people have the income to afford those affordable goods.
That "only" question, simple in theory, is not easy in practice. Some people think the answer is Universal Basic Income (UBI) and some of that is already happening in India (we call them freebies). We can expect the political pressure to do a lot more.
Is there a better answer? Continued ...
@sidhant Good going Sidhant bhai... Keep reporting those protests in #Pakistan as even their media like @Dawn_News & other news channels were earlier reporting only Delhi protests very widely. Its tit for tat now for those #Pakistani awaam
@NileshShah68@Amul_Coop When Amul wanted to enter Karnataka;
- Leftists outraged
- Locals opposed it
- Made it Gujarat vs Karnataka drama
When Nandini was entering North India, North Indians did no drama
More importantly world wants to see best brands from India & not Gujarat v Karnataka brand fight
Trump was irritated earlier that why equities were falling despite good US jobs data. Guess he was badly stuck with Long position in markets. Despite being world's biggest influencer, Trump has now realised its safer to earn fee income, over manipulative posts to trade in markets
Trump has started selling access to his Truth Social posts for $100,000 a month
The US president’s company is launching a paid service that will allow major investors and traders to receive his posts before everyone else.
Trump’s posts about wars, tariffs and other major issues regularly move the markets. A paid subscription could help traders react in time and avoid losing a fortune.
How much would you pay for a post calling off an attack on Iran for the 150th time?
@IndianTechGuide Had this been a place in North India with such incident, many in comments section here would have gone on racial & language attacks on North Indians
@InvestorOfJAMMU Market rewards patience & not timing
Timing a stock accurately is gambling & not investment
Strong companies with:
✔ Real earnings
✔ Innovation
✔ Market leadership
usually win over time
Such stocks with staggered investment on every correction, creates generational wealth
@Muneeb313_ In #Pakistan "dope funding model" from IMF loan is another way of achieving fake success.. prime example is your fatso Arshad Nadeem who's such a disgrace to the field of javelin throw.
He did doping to win in Olympics & after that couldn’t ever cross the 1st round, not even 80m
@AdityaRajKaul This guy is definitely a CIA stooge & his activities to neighbouring countries of India needs to be closely monitored by our intelligence agencies for sake of national security
