Diving deep this week into the economic benefits of HBO’s "The Pitt" – the award-winning medical drama filmed in the Golden State.
Season 2 is now on the air, and the California Film Commission reports that this production injected more than $65 million into the local economy as part of the state’s Tax Credit Program, employed 1,000 full-time cast and crew, and brought over 13,000 background performers onto the set. All of them drawn from California’s creative workforce.
