I spoke with @Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz and thanked him for Germany’s significant bilateral defense assistance and its leadership in uniting partners to support Ukraine.

Chancellor Scholz confirmed that the sixth planned IRIS-T air defense system will be delivered to Ukraine by the end of this year. We also discussed next year’s air defense deliveries and the potential for additional air defense assistance from Germany.

We coordinated steps to ensure the best possible defense and political support for Ukraine. We agreed on the importance of maintaining the “Ramstein” format and holding the next meeting of the coordination group.

I also emphasized that Ukraine’s vision for a just and lasting peace must be presented at the G20 summit in Brazil and thanked Germany for its commitment to supporting us in this effort.

Today, a conference took place focused on a key point of the Peace Formula: one of the fundamental conditions for ending the war and preventing future aggression—the withdrawal of the occupying forces from Ukraine. This is essential to restoring justice. Representatives from over fifty countries and international organizations participated, reflecting a broad representation.

Yesterday, in Latvia, parallel to our Crimea Platform summit, another conference was held on a different Peace Formula point dedicated to the full implementation of the UN Charter. This event saw participation from more than sixty countries and international organizations.

From August to November, each point of the Peace Formula is being addressed through these conferences, each with strong global representation. Meetings have already been held on nuclear safety, energy, food security, and environmental issues—after the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam and all the attacks by Russia. Every aspect of Russian aggression will be documented in a comprehensive paper that will serve as the foundation for the second Peace Summit—a step-by-step path to peace.

At the end of October, a crucial conference on humanitarian aspects will take place, focusing on the release of prisoners and the return of deported children. By November, we will be ready to present the final document for the second Peace Summit.

There is important news from the United States: America has made the decision to provide $20 billion.

These funds are secured by immobilized Russian assets and are part of the G7’s decision to allocate $50 billion to Ukraine, aimed at supporting our defense and resilience.

This assistance will truly support us, and it is important that it be implemented this year. I am grateful to the United States and to the entire G7.

I presented the Victory Plan to the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy, @GiorgiaMeloni. We had a very productive discussion today, covering all aspects of the Plan. The key is to strengthen Ukraine’s positions and relations with our closest partners, ensuring we create the necessary conditions and a fair atmosphere for honest diplomacy.

I am grateful for the preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held in Italy. It is important for us that Italian businesses are significantly represented in the reconstruction projects in Ukraine.

I greatly appreciate our exchange of views today on the prospects for global developments and the immediate political outlook in partner countries.

I would also like to extend my gratitude for the security assistance Italy has provided to Ukraine, particularly the air defense systems that are saving lives in our cities and villages. Today, Giorgia and I also discussed the preparation of a new security package.

We deeply value Italy’s efforts at the G7 and EU levels to ensure international law remains effective and that our Europe stays strong.

I am sincerely grateful to Italy for all the help and support it has provided to Ukraine. It is truly valuable to have such reliable friends.

Work with partners to strength Ukraine continues. I have arrived at the Ramstein Air Base to participate in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting.

We need our partners' determination and the means to stop Russia's aerial terror. It is crucial that all the weapons from the already announced support packages finally reach the combat brigades. We also need strong long-range decisions from our partners to bring closer the just peace we are striving for.

I will take part in the Group’s meeting and meet with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. I will also hold separate talks with @Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz.

Following that, I will head to Italy for the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum, with meetings planned with Italian business representatives. Negotiations will also take place with the President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic, @GiorgiaMeloni.

We are coordinating positions with all G7 allies.

Today, in a special meeting, we discussed new decisions and legislative initiatives that we are preparing for August, which will undoubtedly strengthen our state, our defense, and our society.

We convened a meeting of the working group focused on the energy security point of our Peace Formula, with participation from representatives of 40 partner countries and international organizations. We are preparing for the next phase of this work, which will be conducted online in August at the advisors' level, with the aim of outlining a concrete path to ensure energy security.

I am grateful to everyone who helps. Right now, we all need to act with the same unity and effectiveness that we demonstrated in the first weeks and months of this war—when Ukraine seized the initiative and began to turn the tide in our favor.

We have done it again, proving that, in any situation, Ukrainians can achieve their goals, defend their interests, and protect their independence. We must fully use our achievements. And we will.

Today, I spoke with our Olympic athletes who will represent Ukraine at the Summer Games in Paris this week. It is a significant achievement for Ukrainians that, amidst such a war and full-scale Russian terror, we have prepared and are participating in the Olympics. Our flag and anthem will be in France, standing alongside all nations that respect life and the principles of Olympism.

I thank everyone who helps Ukraine preserve as much of normal life as possible, despite everything. I also thank those who defended the principles of Olympism from distortion and ensured the terrorist state's flags and participation were not allowed in the Olympics.

Putin has turned Russian sports into a sport of killing people. The world will never tolerate this. Russia must be defeated in this war and its terror. Only then will life prevail.

I visited the Donetsk region together with our warriors, Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi, and the new Commander of the Joint Forces, General Hnatov. Today, I officially introduced him to all those responsible for defense in the Donetsk region and received reports directly from positions.

I was pleased to personally visit and thank our heroic and efficient 110th and 47th brigades. I also thanked our combat medics, both men and women, who perform the most important work of stabilizing the wounded, saving lives, and providing maximum support. Witnessing such dedication and willingness to help is truly touching.

In the Donetsk region, I held a detailed meeting on security and support for the people. We addressed many issues, including ensuring essential services such as water, social issues, evacuation, defense assistance, and housing restoration.
