Simple approach to dealing with existing technical problems:
1. Add observability so that you can understand the problem deeply.
2. Add test coverage so that you can change quickly and safely.
3. Make the change you believe will address the problem.
People often jump to step 3.

Don't tell an investor you will go full-time on your startup *after* raising money.
You want investors to feel like they will miss out if they don't make a quick decision. Not that you're waiting on their decision.
Make them feel like this train is leaving with or without them.
