@texasrunnerDFW Grew up in a 778 sq ft home with parents and brother. The problem is wants vs needs. If you can afford a 4k mortgage, you better have at least a 1 year emergency fund plus 15k for major home repair or appliance(s) failure. New homes mostly have a 1 year warranty. Plan accordingly
