We often mistake a profession for a
A snippet from my recent conversation on #ThePeoplesBreakfast, breaking down the mechanics of this transition, why the mindset of a pilot translates directly to the architecture of governance, and why I will always keep my eyes on the horizon.
Empowering the youth isnβt just a philanthropic goal, it is a strategic socioeconomic imperative.
This morning, I had the pleasure of joining the team at @radiogenke for a powerful conversation on a topic close to my heart: the critical intersection of policy-making and youth empowerment.
True empowerment happens when we move beyond inspiration and start embedding structural support into our systems. If our policies do not actively evolve to meet the unique challenges and digital realities of the next generation, we risk stalling the very innovation we need to drive us forward.
We must ask ourselves: Are we just preparing the youth for the future, or are we actively building policies that give them a seat at the table today?
Thank you to the incredible team at Radio Generation for the platform and the rich dialogue. The future belongs to those we empower right now.
When 100 becomes 160β¦ and honestly, weβre not even mad about it!
We planned for a full house, but Matungulu showed up and completely blew the roof off! Just look at the massive crowd that took over the gates and the absolutely packed masterclass inside
Weβre styling hair, doing makeup, and at this point... nobody is trying to go home! π Since theyβre staying, weβre keeping the energy going as long as you are!
Thank you, Matungulu! You came in 160 strong and making this possible
We are thrilled to kick off another impactful 1 week journey with the Glam on Wheels initiative, powered by Captain Irene Ndanu in partnership with Foina. From Mavoko to our newest destination at Viet Garden in Matungulu, our mission remains exactly the same: delivering hope, practical skills, and economic empowerment directly to the people of Machakos.
This is Kagundu! The students are doing amazing already, showing incredible focus and dedication during their training sessions. It is truly inspiring to see the people of Machakos coming together to learn and grow their skills!
A huge congratulations to the graduating class of Mwala!
Hard work, late nights, and endless dedication have finally paid off. Watching you all cross that stage in your gowns today proves that no dream is too big when you have the hustle to chase it.

Yesterday, we stood with our brothers and sisters at Kinane who lost roof on their head due to the tragic fire outbreak to offer more than just words, we showed up with essential supplies to help them navigate these incredibly difficult first few days. Seeing the strength in this community is humbling, but the road to recovery is long. We are committed to continuing our support and invite those who can to join us in standing with these families as they rebuild.
Friday was more than just a ceremony; it was a profound celebration of resilience, growth, and community transformation. Watching our graduates step into this new chapter was a powerful reminder of the impact we can create when we invest in talent and support one another.
The energy in the room was electric as we honored the dedication each of you put into mastering your craft. You can relive these special moments from the ceremony
As you move forward, remember that this is just the beginning, carry this momentum, keep dreaming big, and continue to be a beacon of empowerment in your communities.
While the Glam on Wheels initiative was originally structured for 100 students, the demand and the hunger for growth in our communities have consistently exceeded our expectations. We have watched our enrollment climb from 104 to 110, and now, reaching 114 students in Yatta confirms that we are fulfilling a vital need. We arenβt just hitting numbers; we are building a movement of empowered individuals ready to transform their lives and their communities. Thank you for trusting us with your journey!
To the wonderful people of Masinga and Ndithini, this belongs to your children! I am immensely proud of our Glam on Wheels graduates who have successfully completed their training. Your resilience, passion, and hard work have brought us to this beautiful milestone.
