Politicians rush to send $40 billion to Ukraine, yet we don’t have enough money to protect our children with simple life saving solutions, like single points of entry to schools, staff training, mental health services, threat hotlines, and more.
My daughter attends MSA in Palmettto, Fl. This is who stands at our 1 entry to the school all day. Retired combat veteran. Trained to head straight for gunfire. Who has survived being shot at in intense situations.
@Nicola_Telsa Bullied and Broke all the while raised in a hunting family which we owned guns. These excuses are horse shit. The parents need to have some accountability.
@litttlesnappy For one, no such thing as an assault rifle. I don’t even own one but know that is a made up term to promote fear into non-gun owners/anti gun groups. AR stands for Arma Lite which is the brand. Rifles don’t kill as many as Handguns, Hands, Feet, and Fist. We going to ban them?
@News12LI I mean, why not use former veterans as armed security for these schools. Helps with our veterans being jobless and not using their skill set developed and invested in them by the US gov. Along with keeping our kids safe?
