He received the book! I told him a little about the concept of it & he seemed genuinely positively surprised and gave thanks three times! And a fist bump. The full book is 131 pages (first pic me in da line)
@MuffinsFried yeah ๐ฅฒ Like when soulless Sam said something like "he doesnt care about what happens to me, he just cares about his little brother Sammy" it was very on the nose in general. Both in regards to Deans feelings about Sam/Sammy and the fandom itself
Ppl got mad at me for saying Bobby didnt like Sam, but that wasnt even the initial point of the post (though i also stand by it) and i just worded it badly and then it turned into this
sorry for putting supernatural discourse and me a constantly arguing back on the tl today i always forget how easily posts breach containment on here #tumblruser
@kokamobi Like i wouldnt have minded him asking dean how hes doing. but its the contrast between how usually-closed-off Bobby openly worried about Dean's feelings and even went out of his way to ask him to shares Vs to how he acted about Sam like 2 scenes before
@MarvelleDoucet1 Also I'd argue that letting someone you love sacrifice themself (which Bobby also wanted to let Sam do in S4) shows less concern/love than trying to stop them, even if the way of stopping them was wrong/fucked up
@MarvelleDoucet1 Out of all things, Dean getting locked up is literally the worst comparison you could make bc Bobby literally participated in locking Sam up in S4 too? And in S6? Both times also to prevent Sam's choice?๐ญ Logic is not prevailing today
@MarvelleDoucet1 On which note, i also don't think bobby as a "good/real dad" to dean either. i think He Thought he played a bigger role & had actual right over them than he actually did. my point was abt how the fandom views him & abt how i view the difference in his behavior towards dean vs sam
@MarvelleDoucet1 All of his yelling at Dean came from a place of concern/not wanting Dean to become someone else, because he loved & worried about Dean so much. Which wasn't a good approach, but literally just again shows how much more feelings he has about Dean than he does about Sam.
@MarvelleDoucet1 Including telling Dean "to cut Sam some slack", which also partially had to do with Bobby not wanting Dean to become more like John, but wanting him to stay kind/calm. There definitely was concern for Sam, but it's not the same. And taking Sam's side in planning/strategicalโ
