I strongly urge everyone affected to start tagging and questioning your main culprits on linkedin for delay. It’s these two individuals who head the department under Mr. Jason Herter who have been a trained for this coup.

While we pray for the souls lost in AI171, an IndiGo Captain reportedly identified cabin crew who posted profane comments on this reel, documented them, and escalated the matter to the VP IFS, Base Manager, and HR.
Was such behaviour justified?
Think twice before being kind.
Fatigue doesn't announce
itself. It quietly alters judgment.
Fatigue rarely feels dramatic. It feels subtle. A slower scan, a delayed response, a tolerance for shortcuts, a
quiet drop in mental sharpness.

Given how easy it is to throw these fall guys under the bus, which sane pilot would want to join this degenerate organisation for a thankless job? These are just pawns with no real authority. Has any bureaucrat or pmt staffer ever been held accountable or sacked? Pure drama.
This is why I’ve always been against public apologies from pilots.
Most people are distracted by apologies and compensation, while ignoring how the situation was engineered for profit at the cost of safety.
Once emotions are pacified, accountability disappears.
Genuinely curious: which secret portal grants anonymous lawyers access to IndiGo’s quarterly resignation stats?
Because in the real world, only Eugene Soreng and Tapas Dey hold that information & neither is in the habit of briefing the same to media.

@XecutiveSummary I believe you missed out on the news where the regulatory was mocked as “Government of IndiGo”.
The operator with its connections does as it pleases.
Also my tweet spoke about fast tracking trainee to an assisting engineer. Small timeframe but cannot sign off an aircraft.
It doesn’t work that way.
Aircraft engineers have a rank & licensing hierarchy just like pilots.
Trainee → Tech → Certifying AME → Senior AME → Fleet Engineer.
Each level requires months to years of Type Training, On-Job Training, DGCA approvals, and supervised sign-offs.
@captroaster If 50 are going out means 50 will be filled in....without proper experience narrative will not fit in such low number.
In every team there must be atleast one deserving guy and they might have hundreds of teams and total pool needed is just 50
As the dust settles,
50+ IndiGo Engineers (AME & above) have submitted resignations because of culture.
Now the Managers of Eng at every base are being asked to expedite promotion of trainees to Assisting Engineer without proper experience & this is a major safety hazard.
@sandipsabharwal Just flew @IndiGo6E They are among the finest India has got, could see little more energy and smiles from the crew than before.. very nice
