Raila Odinga was nicknamed Agwambo, the “mystery man”. He ran for president five times and never won. But he was more than an opposition leader. Now Kenya must reckon with life without him.

You wake up at 5AM not to build hospitals, not to fix roads, not to feed children .
But to wrap Parliament in wire like a crime scene.
You barricade the city like you’re under siege. But the only thing you’re hiding from is the truth.
You don’t fear bandits. You don’t fear cartels. You don’t fear the murderers in government.
You fear the teacher who speaks out. The youth who stands up. The mother who says ‘enough.’
That’s who you fear. Because you know ; once the people wake up, you can’t govern them with lies anymore.
Kenyan leaders are the only people who beg for aid with one hand then steal it with the other.
They fly to Western capitals wearing designer suits, speaking polished English about “development,” “inclusivity,” and “partnerships.”
They pose with diplomats. They sign pledges. They tweet gratitude.
Then they come home and eat the very aid they begged for.
A government that turns its guns, teargas, and cruelty on its own people especially children is not just illegitimate, it is a disgrace.
No regime that wages war against the future can claim to have one.
When you shoot at students, brutalize teens, and criminalize dissent, you're looting the soul of the nation.
Kenya belongs to the people. Not to a club of power-drunk elites hiding behind uniforms and broken promises.
At what point did it reach that selling a face mask is a criminal activity, killing a young person looking for daily bread to take to his family. !!!!!!!!

If the cost of living crisis has got you down, and the banks won’t lend you any more money, you might have to pay a visit to a loan shark – despite high interest rates and looming threats of violence.
A degree is not proof that you are smart or intelligent. It’s proof that you are obedient or can be obedient to any system. It means you are a trained slave. Hence why entrepreneurship in Africa is such a hard journey because we aren’t taught to be free spirited.
