Sometimes I do get to leave my classroom😉 today I helped out a co-worker by dressing up as Cass, a character from the SuperKids reading curriculum. I visited the kindergarten classroom, read a book, handed out cookies, and got lots of hugs!
Extremely excited to begin my journey teaching Autistic Support this year right in the classroom that I student taught in this past fall! So ready to be back with all of the kids and the staff at MY former elementary school.

This child of God is a prodigy. Autism and blindness can’t erase the smile from the face of @KodiLeeRocks. Kodi has given HOPE, POWER, and HAPPINESS to those who feel marginalized because of who they are. Erase the DIS, highlight the ABILITY! @gabunion 👍🏾

Looking forward to tomorrows presentations at the SPACE Symposium & Student Teacher Showcase. Happy to have the support of my mentor teacher from my Fall 2018 student teaching semester who will be attending tomorrows events. Wouldn't be here without all of her help and support!
Look at all of the adjectives my students came up with this afternoon to describe the character in our story! Would you want to be like this character? Is this character someone you would like to be around?
