Today my students made life-size Roman shields to conclude our unit on Ancient Rome. I never thought I’d love to teach middle school this much!

Thank you to the kind staff at @sesamestreet Live! My son has nystagmus, he also has trouble focusing and seeing. The photographer was so patient taking pictures when I explained why my son wasn’t looking at him (when he tried getting his attention). Grateful for kind people.

Yesterday I took my students to the garden so they could use what they learned in science about plants. They identified if the plants were vascular or nonvascular and how they would reproduce (seeds or spores).

Today during therapy we discussed our behavior and our actions. We used the toothpaste activity to show that once we do something, it can sometimes cause a mess and we can’t take it back. The students really related to this and had a lot of fun!
