They want us to shut up and go away. I've alerted all my clients to humor them and provided them with a suitable alternative place to shop.

@PublixHelps It offers excuses under the legislation. There is also a responsibility to determine whether the animal is a service animal. Service animals are generally identifiable with a vest. That's why they wear them. To make it clear.

@PublixHelps And as stated, clearly the manager spoke with @nefariouslabs and admitted no authority over the situation. This isn't a gray area. The regulations are black and white. Store management and staff need some help and support to enforce this. Clearly they have none.

I ADORE dogs. I don't have them around my food when I'm working with it though. Apparently it's OK at the @publix deli to have pets breathing over the counter onto fresh, open meat .... Vegans, you aren't safe either. I just found out that the produce area is not exempt ....
