I'm so envious of my elder brother's new wife. Whenever we have family gatherings, she doesn't do anything at all. She never helps with chores or offers any form of assistance.

Last December, we had our uncle's burial celebration, and the entire family returned home for the event. I thought she might have changed by then, but she was literally the worst. It upsets me so much because I feel like my brother is a slave in his own marriage.

As soon as they arrived, she went upstairs to her room and stayed there throughout the entire event. While everyone else was busy with various activities downstairs, she spent her time laughing, watching movies, and entertaining herself.

What makes it even more surprising is that my brother has always lectured his sisters about laziness. He constantly preached that if we weren't hardworking and responsible, no man would ‘pick’ us. So I'm genuinely wondering how he ended up choosing someone who seems to be the complete opposite of everything he used to preach.
