Amb profunda tristesa, lamentem comunicar la mort aquesta passada matinada del Dr. Joan Guinovart, fundador, exdirector, exinvestigador i professor emèrit de l’IRB Barcelona.
El Dr. Guinovart ha estat una figura clau en l’àmbit de la bioquímica, deixant una empremta inesborrable tant a nivell científic com de gestió. La seva intel.ligència, lideratge i el seu profund humanisme han estat fonamentals per a les persones que hem tingut la sort de compartir camí amb aquest home irrepetible i per al món de la recerca.
Expressem el nostre més sentit condol a la seva família, amics, companys i a tota la comunitat de l'IRB Barcelona.
Joan, la teva absència ens deixa un gran buit, però el teu llegat perdurarà per sempre.
