@terrorobe@danluu I'm most confused about how this is the way to select the blinkers, even if they were tactile, this seems to be in the steering wheel so they move around
@chacon@gitbutler There's some option there yeah... but didn't that just need the committer to sign? Whoever is using the tool to create those commits that get pushed should be able to sign (though I'm far from those rules)
@chacon Depends on what you are trying to put a signature on. Having two levels be a challenge for a UI, but more likely it tries to follow tag sigs, where you vouch for the history up to that point, and nobody can use your signed tree but the history is full of exploits or whatever
@chacon You're signing the commit rather than just e.g. the tree, so putting it anywhere else in history would make the previous signature invalid. It is also an extension to the data so most tools should be dropping it as they wouldn't know what to do with it
