What a trip around the sun it's been for this guy. In the last 12 months he unseated the President of the States, caught the world's biggest rocket booster with chopsticks, and launched the first pure vision driverless cars. Even for a man who has seen many crazy years, this one is next level.

Elon faces more torment, hatred, and resistance than maybe anyone else on the planet. He is the favorite villain of do nothing losers who bravely call him names like "nazi" from behind their keyboards. If you pay too much attention to these idiots, it's easy to forget who he actually is.

He's the guy who built his own rocket company from the ground up, achieving milestones in reusability that have pushed America's space capability forward by decades. He kickstarted a sustainable energy and transport revolution that has sent us on a path to a brighter future. He fought for free speech and is steering AGI in the right direction. He kick started the current humanoid robotics craze with Optimus. I could go on for a long time talking about his impact, but what really sets him apart is that he has an amazing heart. He's not driven by money or accolades, he's passionate about his work in a way that I've never seen in anyone else.

You can feel it in the products. They are products that change peoples lives for the better. They are products that sometimes save peoples lives. It's not just that the products are fun to use, but you can feel that the teams behind them had fun making them and that shines through the product to the customer, across all his companies.

You can love him, you can hate him, you can call him names or quote him... just about the only thing you can't do is ignore him. Because he changes things. Because one tweet from his phone can set the wheels of history in motion.

The crazy thing to me is that despite everything he's done, it feels like he's just getting started.
