Why didn’t they get Sylvester Stallone to be one of the tested voices of Rocky?
HE’S LITERALLY ROCKY.
Though I love how Ray Porter was one of them; a little homage to the book.

@SnazzyLabs *wakes up 2 min before only set alarm*
Me: “Siri, cancel alarm”
Siri: “You have 6 alarms saved. First ala…”
Me: “??? Siri, cancel my 5:00 alarm”
Siri: “You have 6 alarms. Firs…”
Me: “Siri, delete all alarms”
Siri: “Sorry, I can’t do that”
5:00: *alarm blares at full volume*
@SnazzyLabs What frustrates me, is my Apple Store literally doesn’t let you just go in and buy something.
If it’s not an accessory (e.g. case), you need to order it online and “schedule an appointment” to pickup.
And sometimes there are none available although the store is dead empty…
@SnazzyLabs 100% agreed.
My refurbished 2017 27” 5K iMac is on its last legs and I really wanna dump it and just get a studio display to plug my MacBook Air into…
But I just can’t justify the cost at all.
It’s literally more than I paid for my iMac, for the exact same screen. Ugh.
@malviyapankaj@academic_exit I’m in materials science/polymer chemistry.
I understand it’s definitely company-dependent… and even we *occasionally* work nights/weekends.
But for my company (and from what I’ve heard, for these industries in general) it’s not at all the norm to have to do that regularly.
@academic_exit Work-life balance.
1. I was super stressed after work because I wasn't used to "free time." Always felt like I needed to be working.
2. Boss saying "Have a good weekend!" on Fridays instead of "What'll you get done by Monday?"
This transition gave me bad anxiety for a while.
