Rishi Sunak has claimed that voters are fine with him spending £50,000 a day on this ridiculously large private jet.
If you aren’t fine, RT and tell him to spend his own £720,000,000.
Where is his pay restraint?
Also like if you want him to f** off.
@LucyWoodslucy70@Patrici89225734 Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt do use solar farms, mainly for their domestic markets. Generation and storage is not the issue here, it’s the distribution and cabling. Morocco distributes to Spain and Portugal, and Tunisia to Italy. Distribution beyond that is difficult.
@LucyWoodslucy70@Patrici89225734 While I’m all for renewables, there are various reasons that this wouldn’t work. Primarily with the distribution of the generated power, the infrastructure is nowhere near ready. Perversely adding solar panels in the Sahara could also contribute to climate change in the Amazon.
@TheCentreLefty I certainly wouldn’t behave as this entitled Karen has done. How about showing a bit of respect for those of us worried about the future of this planet.
@MyRightSwing @Scarfer13@PoliticsPollss Yeah, go on, vote reform and split the right wing vote. Then we’ll have a Labour government. 😊 That’ll be wonderful, thanks. 👍
@jsolloso@martinjhamer Firstly they be stacked, so wouldn’t need to be single storey. Secondly, housing should be about accommodation, not about investment and making money, that’s why things are so bad now. Thirdly, try one before making any judgement. Modular homes are well built to a good standard.
@rosepoet@martinjhamer Maybe you should see some of the new homes that are being built and sold for several hundred k. Appalling standards with so many issues. Modular homes built in factories would easily last 80+ years and a lot would be better built then the so called premium homes.
@Frenchadventur1 @martinjhamer There’s land available if needed. Brown field sites. Many abandoned and dilapidated homes in several towns that would be cheaper to tear down and replace with prefabs/social housing. It’s only greedy landlords and speculators that say there is no land.
@mancitizens123@martinjhamer@LynneBaines2 I would, be more than happy to. Modern prefabs and modular homes are absolutely wonderful. Maybe you should get your head out of your arse and see what other countries are doing with prefabs and modular homes. Would love to have the option here.
@martinjhamer@Patrici89225734 I’ve been saying this for years, prefabs and modular homes are so much better these days. Other countries have them but there seems to be no plan in the UK to have them. As others have pointed out, it’s all about money.
@SimonTa86450084 @EvLenz Our taxes are going to pay corrupt politicians legal costs and bailing out profligate water companies that are mired in debt while pouring shit into our waterways. I suppose you’re fine with that though.
@Robbie__64 @PoliticsPollss You do realise that government borrowing is higher than GDP don’t you? First time in 62 years. Now who was in government in 1961 (check notes) oh yes, it was the tories. A lot of that was down to wartime debt, this time it’s down the Tory greed.
@Templar736 @PolitlcsUK@FT Well if you claim to be Anglo Saxon then you are most probably of foreign heritage. Just like the rest of us 🤯
